This week’s fave things…
My battle with my skin is always ongoing. It was like the older I get, the more my skin freaks out (hello, adult acne). Because of the skin freakouts, I have some acne scars that I’m trying to get rid of. I know that since I’m on Retin-A, over time the spots will go away but you know I can be a tad impatient lol. What I like to call this serum is my little kickstarter. As the Retin-A starts to work to renew, the radiance serum starts targeting the dark spots so the process is a little sped up.
I know you’re probably tired of me talking about Retin-A but the struggle is real guys. You literally have to change up your whole routine and find products that work with it! So one of the issues with Retin-A is how dry it makes your skin. There was one time, I felt like my skin was so dry that I slathered Vaseline all over my face lol. Now I wouldn’t recommend that because I found my dry skin savior: rosehip oil. It helps my skin stay so hydrated and I believe it has lightening/brightening properties in it as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend, but I’m told it has to be organic, cold pressed rosehip oil and if not don’t bother (thanks Meg).
Hands down one of my fave shows. You want to talk about a hot mess? LOL, I love all of the drama. I love all of the shenanigans. It is pure entertainment. If you love reality tv and this show isn’t in your rotation, add it in right now. I’m sure my Instagram followers are tired of me talking about it because I post it on my stories ALL OF THE TIME.
Where are all of my bachelor nation fans?!? So I am an advocate for the whole Bachelor franchise. I absolutely love it, live for it, the whole nine. Why I’ve never listened to a bachelor podcast, I have no idea. I mean I’m not going to lie, there’s like 600 of them but I follow Nick on Instagram and I thought I would give it a shot. So what I like about this is that they talk about the bachelor (I feel like you get the inside scoop) but he also gives advice and talks about other things. It’s actually kind of funny. I listen to a lot of beauty, entrepreneurial and spiritual podcasts, so this is nice to add into the mix. Also, I think Nick is fine ;).
I am constantly on Instagram and Pinterest discovering new people to follow and get inspiration from. These two particular girls, I’ve absolutely been loving their style. One thing you’ll notice is that I love following people who not only have great style but also have a killer home. It’s like a one-stop shop for inspiration.
